3 tips on how to promote NFTs on Instagram

When you think of digital art, you probably also think of social media. Well, at least you should. Since the NFT boom, social media has played a significant part in the NFT marketing game. So, if you're looking for the perfect exposure for your digital art, then there could not be a better platform than Instagram.

So, how can artists best promote NFTs on Instagram?

Making yourself recognized through social media can sound simple. After all, most of us are very familiar with navigating social media platforms. (I get reminded of this every time my grandma appears in my likes)

Yes, We're all out there, which can make it even more difficult to ensure your art reaches the right audience and gets the engagement that leads to sales. Therefore, we've created a list including 3 quick tips on how to promote your NFTs so it reaches the right crowd:

1, Introduce yourself

Many people want to get to know you before they consider your art. Not talking about your favourite colour here, but rather information such as how you work and what your art mean, where you gather inspiration from as well as providing links to your other social media accounts and personal sites you might have.

NFT artists benefit from utilizing several social media platforms to widen their reach. With this in mind, it's a great idea to set up a dedicated Instagram profile where you can introduce yourself and showcase your NFT collection to your audience.

2, Use the right keywords and hashtags

The NFT market welcomes all artists, from influencers with millions of followers on Instagram to newcomers without a following. Of course, a big audience means greater visibility and legitimacy for your NFTs. But regardless if you already have many followers or have just started to build your following list, you should continuously optimize your NFT posts by using relevant hashtags and keywords to reach an even larger crowd.

The best way to find those specific words and hashtags is to use hashtag aggregators and analytics tools, learn from other artists and influencers in your niche and last but not least: keep it short and straightforward.

3, Create Reels

Reels have become Instagram's fastest-growing feature worldwide and can get you more followers and engagement fast. The options are endless, from using trending songs to creating an eye-catching teaser of your NFT collection; or why not compile everything from the making process and share it with your audience? Reels are your new best friend!
